Bend Yoga Therapy

A Truly Comprehensive
System of Wellbeing

At Bend Yoga Therapy, we recognize health emerges from cultivating a state of balance and connection within and between our bodies, breath, mind, and world. To be truly well, we must work with all aspects of our being - physical, functional, psychological, and social - which in turn requires a fully integrative approach.

Yoga therapy leverages this interconnection between breath, body, mind and combines it with the best of modern medical understanding to restore health.

Working within a comprehensive framework, we evaluate and address imbalances within:

our physiological structures and functions

our psychological functions and mental wellbeing

our interactions with the world through relationships, lifestyle, & purpose

Comprehensive System - Physical Wellbeing

Comprehensive System - Environmental Wellbeing

Environmental Wellbeing

Working with relationships to self and others, cultivating purpose, and examining how our lifestyle choices support our health, we build skill in interacting with our environment as a critical part of healing and wellbeing.

From within this comprehensive framework, we identify root causes of pain and dysfunction and build the skills and techniques to restore wellbeing.

Your therapeutic plan is fully individualized to meet your personal needs and consists of practical, incremental, mutually supportive practices tailored to restore health within your physical body, clarity in your mind, and balance in your relationship with yourself, others, and your environment.

Here to Support You

Meet Hännah
Yoga Therapist, Owner

My journey with yoga as therapy started over 20 years ago. Each day I'm profoundly grateful for its sustained support, insight, and healing potential. It's been a constant companion to me as I've travelled through the ups and downs of life; through multiple injuries and chronic conditions, life transitions, and everything in between. With a dedicated and honest commitment to deepening my own knowledge through practice, in-depth study, and the most authentic sources, yoga therapy continues to sustain me daily in living life with greater wellbeing and purpose.

Empowering others in their own healing journeys is source of deep joy for me. With over 15 years of experience working individually to help people find greater ease in their bodies, breath, minds, and lives, I bring well-rooted experience, embodied insight, an open mind, and an insatiable curiosity to learn more, always. Whether that's journeying to the source of these ancient practices or delving into rigorous studies in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, I thrive on seeking, sharing, and applying knowledge to help us heal, transform, and thrive.

I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

Bend Yoga Therapy Experience

Education & Experience

Twenty years of dedicated practice have taken me across the globe for sustained study with deeply learned practitioners within the Krishnamacharya lineage. My primary teachers are Nancy Gilgoff in Maui, the Jois Family in Mysore, India, and the Mohans of Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda in Chennai, India. It is with Dr. Ganesh Mohan, a Western medical doctor and Ayurvedic practitioner, that I have delved into the science, philosophy, and framework of yoga as an applied therapy. I offer my deepest appreciation to all of my teachers on this path, and seek to uphold these teachings with integrity, authenticity, and ongoing commitment to study and self-inquiry.
